Peter Blanchette: Alto and Tenor archguitars
For years people asked Peter to record a CD of Christmas music. However, Peter always resisted the project because Christmas albums are usually recorded in the summer, requiring the artist to spend hours playing Christmas music without the benefit of the Christmas spirit. As an alternative, in December of 2000, Peter began work on the holiday CD. While it took until March to finish, it was a snowy year and the holiday mood persisted.
The album's arrangements nicely bring together traditional Christmas music from various countries and time periods in a program which will surely put you in the Christmas spirit.
