Peter Blanchette and Peter Michelini
Over the years hundreds of listeners have written to say that this particular CD is their most beloved recording. Since 1982 people from around the world have written, called and emailed to tell us the music accompanied the birth of a child or a wedding processional. On several occasions we were honored to hear that a mortally ill person requested it in their last hours. Why? Perhaps it is the youthful, guileless love and enthusiasm documented in this unedited, live performance by two 22 year old musicians in a church in Copenhagen playing Bach on their crazy new instruments from midnight to dawn. We are particularly proud of this CD and continue to pursue its genuine spirit of discovery and joy.
Left; Peter Michelini,

Right: Peter Blanchette

If you love baroque music, e.g. The Four Seasons, this is the disc for you. It is an excellent introduction to the extended possibilities of the archguitar. There are both solos and duos on this CD. Part of the magic of this disc is that it was recorded live in the Heligåndskirke. This historic church in Copenhagen, Denmark is one of the world's most acoustically warm spaces.
